La vita di Convitto si sviluppa attraverso un calendario che fissa i momenti essenziali.

Una volta superata la prima parte del pomeriggio, dedicata allo studio, la restante parte del pomeriggio
e tutto l'arco serale rappresenta, a meno di successivi o particolari impegni scolastici, il cosiddetto "tempo libero" che il giovane convittore può gestire come vuole.

Ad esempio può decidere tra le seguenti opportunità:


1. Frequentare le attività progettuali gestite dagli istitutori



a) LABORATORIO MULTIMEDIALE

b) LABORATORIO ATTIVITA' MUSICALI

c) LABORATORIO LINGUISTICO

d) REDAZIONE GIORNALE "IL MOSAICO"

e) ARCHIVIO MULTIMEDIALE "LA CARTOLINA ILLUSTRATA E IL XX SECOLO"

f) ATTIVITA'SPORTIVA

g) CINEFORUM E "PREMIO DAVID GIOVANI"

h) ATTIVITA' TECNICO-PRATICHE

i) TORNEI RICREATIVI E SPORTIVI

l) ALTRE ATTIVITA' ESTEMPORANEE



2. FREQUENTARE LA SALA ATTIVITA' RICREATIVE

Tale attività trova le sue ragioni di essere nella consapevolezza che lo studio e il successo scolastico sono gli obiettivi richiesti dalla Scuola, da una parte, e auspicati dalle famiglie, dall’altra. Da ciò scaturisce la necessità di aiutare il ragazzo a superare le difficoltà inerenti allo studio e a ottimizzare il tempo a disposizione anche predisponendo interventi personalizzati mediante l'impegno di Educatori che si dedicheranno più esclusivamente ad attività di recupero. Sono questi gli interventi che caratterizzano il Convitto “M. Di Sangro”, interventi mirati a migliorare il rendimento scolastico attraverso i gruppi-studio specifici per area (area scientifica, area linguistica, area umanistica e area tecnica).

L'attività di studio dei convittori, infatti, è articolata in più fasi:

- giornalmente, dalle 15.00 alle 17.00, i convittori, suddivisi per anno, svolgono, nelle rispettive aule, i compiti scolastici sotto la guida degli istitutori designati.

- in tale fascia oraria, i convittori con particolari necessità in una particolare materia, possono essere affidati, di volta in volta, alla guida dell' Istitutore referente dell’area specifica.

- i convittori, in orario diverso, anche serale, possono, previa prenotazione, usufruire di attività di recupero, su particolari materie, da parte degli Istitutori competenti.

Le attività della CdS: Relax e tempo libero

Dopo il pranzo, dalle 14.00 alle 15.00, i convittori sono liberi di gestire il tempo a disposizione come desiderano.

In particolare possono:


- rientrare in camera per riposo e/o relax

- dedicarsi ad attività ricreative in sala giochi o in sala videogiochi

- guardare la tv o visionare dei video

- intrattenersi in sala lettura e socializzazione.
