"Quest’anno il progetto musicale è stato particolarmente accattivante: quello di costituire un gruppo musicale che desse risalto alle nostre tradizioni popolari: il lavoro si è sviluppato valorizzando le specifiche capacità dei partecipanti, creando spirito di gruppo e rielaborando brani tratti dalla tradizione folcloristica garganica. Tutto ciò è stato possibile grazie alla disponibilità del Dirigente Scolastico prof. Ettore Basso, che ringraziamo a nome di tutti, perché ci ha permesso di realizzare questo ambito progetto; inoltre un ringraziamento di cuore va all’insegnante, il M° Attilio Rispoli, che con molta pazienza e passione ci ha guidati in questa sfida.

Ecco a voi il gruppo “Convitto folk”: Rignanese e Ciuffreda alla chitarra, Triggiani alle percussioni, Di Fiore con la tamorra, la voce del gruppo è di Fabio Zoppi” . Dopo un fragoroso applauso annuncio il primo brano, una “Tarantella Garganica”. Segue “Brigante se more” che, come spiega Alessandro, ha per tema il brigantaggio garganico. Dopo la Tammurriata, è la volta di un “mix strumentale” di brani molto usati ancora oggi nelle feste paesane e sagre per invitare la gente a ballare. Conclude l’esibizione del gruppo “Bim, bum, bam” che, molto usato nella tradizione garganica, parla del modo con cui le donne riuscivano a farsi corteggiare per indurre l’uomo al matrimonio. L’esibizione dei nostri amici è stata apprezzata da tutti che hanno espresso con calorosi applausi il loro gradimento.

Si è creata nel pubblico un’atmosfera gioiosa e partecipativa che si è manifestata soprattutto quando alcuni convittori si sono cimentati in brani di musica leggera con l’accompagnamento del M°. Rispoli: infatti spesso i ritornelli venivano cantati da tutti i presenti a mò di coro. Come da scaletta abbiamo ascoltato da Zoppi “Fuoco nel fuoco” di Eros Ramazzotti e “Alba chiara” di Vasco Rossi; Generoso Rignanese ha cantato una celebre ballata di Fabrizio De Andrè “Bocca di rosa” e Giuseppe Del Conte un brano dei Nomadi “Io vagabondo” . Infine io stesso mi sono esibito cantando un brano di G. Grignani, “Speciale”.

Dopo di che annuncio un brano a sorpresa. La manifestazione dell’anno precedente si era conclusa con un pensiero, sotto forma di filastrocca, agli Istitutori che hanno ricambiato con un loro componimento altrettanto affettuoso e spiritoso. Quest’anno, dedicato a tutto il personale ata in servizio, è stata eseguita dal gruppo musicale una paradia a ritmo di rap dal titolo “Il Convitto a 5 stelle”.

La serata si conclude con un grosso applauso e ringraziamento per il suo fruttuoso lavoro al M° Rispoli al quale i ragazzi, a ricordo dell’esperienza vissuta, fanno un piccolo dono, modesto, ma di grande valore affettivo."
