Il 25 ottobre, alle ore 17.00, presso il cinema Cicolella di San Severo è partito il progetto “Premio David Giovani 2012-13”. Istituito nel 1997, a seguito di un accordo tra il Dipartimento dello Spettacolo e l’Ente David di Donatello, d’intesa con il ministero della Pubblica Istruzione e con la collaborazione dell’Agiscuola Nazionale, ha lo scopo di avvicinare gli studenti alla visione cinematografica in quanto momento culturale qualificante ed essenziale allo sviluppo di capacità critiche.
Tra le Scuole che hanno aderito al progetto c’è anche il nostro Istituto. Nel gruppo selezionato di partecipanti 4 convittori: De Cicilia Antonio, Di Nunzio Michele, Piemontese Giovanni e Finizio Matteo. Essi, insieme agli altri partecipanti, costituiranno una giuria che visionerà, gratuitamente, un certo numero di film italiani opportunamente selezionati. Il voto, espresso su apposite schede timbrate e firmate dal notaio dell’Ente David, contribuirà, a livello nazionale, a determinare il film italiano vincitore del Premio David Scuola 2013.
Ai giovani, che alla presentazione del progetto hanno ricevuto il materiale e le indicazioni principali, per incentivare una maggiore partecipazione e una più ampia preparazione il cav. Ferdinando Cicolella ha offerto, inoltre, la tessera omaggio per il ciclo dei film de "I Giovedì d'Essai". Al termine del percorso, ai giurati che assisteranno ad almeno due terzi delle proiezioni, verrà rilasciato un attestato di partecipazione utilizzabile come credito formativo. Ogni giurato potrà inoltre consegnare un elaborato, sotto forma di riflessione o recensione, su un film visto: una giuria locale valuterà tre elaborati più significativi, che parteciperanno alla fase regionale, che sceglierà tra questa trentina i tre migliori della Puglia. Alla fine al primo classificato sarà data l'opportunità di partecipare alla giuria dei giovani che assegna il premio "Leoncino d'Oro" nell'ambito della Mostra Internazionale d'Arte cinematografica di Venezia, il secondo e il terzo al "Campus Cinema Giovani" nell'ambito del XVIII Congresso Nazionale Agiscuola (nov.-dic. 2013).
Nel 2010 l’elaborato del convittore Scirpoli Francesco è stato tra quelli prescelti per la partecipazione alla selezione regionale. Visto il precedente possiamo ben sperare che uno dei nostri amici partecipanti possa, quest’anno, fare altrettanto bene e semmai…. Ai nostri amici buon divertimento e “in bocca al lupo".
