La fattoria didattica si fonda sul bisogno di agricoltura della nostra società, offre una risposta pratica, gradevole e culturalmente alta all'esigenza di ritrovare le nostre radici.

L’8 aprile l’ist. Marolla ha riunito nell’Auditorium i convittori del progetto “Valorizzazione del patrimonio ambientale e storico-culturale e Civiltà Contadina”, per un dibattito sul tema della “fattoria didattica”, alla luce di un numero sempre crescente, anche nel nostro territorio provinciale, di questa realtà.
L’importanza delle fattorie didattiche risiede nel fatto che esse riescono a creare i contatti fra mondo urbano e rurale. Esse diffondono nelle nuove generazioni e nella società tradizioni e usanze della cultura contadina, valorizzano i mestieri e la manualità artigianale con l’esperienza diretta, favorendo, nello stesso tempo, il recupero del valore culturale ed ambientale del proprio territorio.
Marolla, attraverso una serie di diapositive, oltre ad illustrare le finalità di una fattoria didattica, ha parlato dei requisiti che un’Azienda deve possedere per poter ottenere il titolo di fattoria didattica, di quali attività specifiche realizzare a tal fine.
Successivamente si è operata una simulazione di progetto didattico-educativo da proporre ad eventuali ospiti di una ideale fattoria didattica avente per oggetto la pianta dell'olivo e i suoi frutti. Infine si è programmato un piano di attività che possa portare alla realizzazione di una fattoria tipo.
